FOUNDATIONAL TEXT

The Bhagavad
:gītā

A timeless conversation about identity, purpose, and action under pressure.

Krishna and Arjuna on the chariot - The dialogue of the Bhagavad Gita
Kurukṣetra · The Eternal Dialogue of Knowledge & Consciousness

WHAT IS IT?

A dialogue on a battlefield.

Spoken over five thousand years ago, the Bhagavad-gītā is an exchange between Arjuna — a gifted warrior paralyzed by moral ambiguity and existential grief — and Krishna, who serves as his friend and spiritual guide.

Rather than offering simplistic rules or dogmatic commands, the Gītā explores the anatomy of human doubt. It provides a comprehensive map of consciousness that speaks directly to modern dilemmas of burnout, identity, and existential loneliness.

CORE DIALOGUES

Questions explored in the text.

01

The Nature of Self (Atman)

Who are we when we strip away nationality, occupation, body, and fluctuating thoughts? The Gītā identifies consciousness as eternal, indestructible, and intrinsically joyful.

02

Action Without Anxiety (Karma-Yoga)

How do we act with excellence in our daily work without being consumed by fear of failure or attachment to results? Transforming duty into a mindful offering.

03

The Psychology of the Mind

Why does the mind vacillate between restless ambition and lethargy? Understanding the three modes of nature (gunas) that shape human psychology and habit loops.

04

Relationship & Devotion (Bhakti)

The culmination of knowledge: shifting from cold intellectualism to a warm, personal relationship with the source of existence through devotion and service.
